The Dodgers are going to do what with my photo?!

As many of you know, photography has been a passion of mine for years, from “borrowing” my moms point and shoot without her knowing, to carrying my own point and shoot camera in my pocket most days in high school.

2012 was the year that I got my DSLR and started testing out different types of photography I was interested in, concerts and sports where the top two that caught my attention.

Just last month the Los Angeles Dodgers launched a Facebook live series called Focus on the Dodgers and it features long time dodgers photographer, Jon SooHoo. Fans submit photos on Instagram with the hashtag #FOTDodgers for SooHoo to talk about live on the show.

A little less than two weeks ago I was contacted by the producer of FOTD saying that one of my photos was chosen to be featured on this months episode. I’m so stoked on the opportunity to have one of my favorite and most inspirational photographer to critic one of my photos.

Feel free to tune in on the Dodgers Facebook page tomorrow, Tuesday, May 22. They haven’t posted the exact time of the episode, but the April episode premiered at 1:30 p.m. If you can’t watch the live stream of it, don’t worry, I can still be watched at a later time! EDIT: it airs at 4:45 p.m. PST!

Who knew that this photo I took in April 2016 of my nephew Harrison would have resulted in this. If you don’t follow my photography Instagram, please do so! The support from every single person means a lot.
