Tonight Team USA and Canada battle it out on the ice. Both teams are undefeated which means you definitely do not want to miss this. I vividly remember the last time these two teams played on Olympic ice was in 2018 when USA beat Canada in the Gold medal game that ended in an intense shootout. I was shouting at the TV, rooting for team USA. There were tears in my eyes when they won, I’ll never forget the amount of joy I felt at that moment.
That was the first time I found myself watching the Team USA Women’s hockey team, better yet that was the first time I watched women’s hockey at all. As someone in my late 20’s that shouldn’t have been the case. With Team USA Women’s Hockey being a dominant force in the last two Olympics I hope women and girls in the generations to come get inspired to take the ice and be badass.
