Let’s be honest, the last few years have been hectic for everyone, including me. One thing I know for sure is that I miss sharing my words with all of you.

When is started writing on my website it was for one reason, to build up a portfolio to pitch myself to Barstool Sports. I went to college for journalism, dropped out 4 general education classes short of a degree. Which, I know, I know, why don’t I go back and finish? It just isn’t for me.

I was severely depressed and going through life so numb. College for me was a chore after I finished all my journalism classes and I had no motivation to show up to my math class or US history class. What were those classes going to do for me and my career in the long run? I still don’t know that answer.

But when I started this blog it felt great to get the words flowing again. I loved the way my storytelling was coming across, honestly, but it was a chore for me too. I had an end goal, and that was a career that I was trying to attain.

When I started this blog I felt as if I had nothing holding me back here in this little hometown of Whittier, CA. I was ready for a change of scenery, I was ready to leave this place and never look back.

Some of that has changed, with my parents getting older, me finding the love of my life and my forever best friend, I feel more content here than I did 3 years ago.

I’m taking a different approach to this little slice of the internet now. Not so much using it as a portfolio, but a place to share my life, love, interest and experiences. I hope some of you are happy to be along for the ride. It’s going to be a fun one.
